About Us

Speranza is a dance institution based in East Jakarta that was established in January 2011. Its two founders, Jetty Maika and Enrinia Tanod Aihara, are internationally qualified teachers of The Royal Academy of Dance, London, United Kingdom. For us, dance is not only another extra curricular activity, but we see it as a part of education. Understanding the importance of a proper dance education in classical ballet teaching and following an international qualification, they have been training prospective and dedicated teachers to meet the highest standard required to teach for Speranza. Not only classical ballet, we also provide other dance program such as hip hop and lyrical jazz. All those classes are catered for children, teens and adult.

We also provide teachers to teach in other school, either for extra curricular activities, or guest / non resident teacher (in another ballet schools or studios). Our clients were Kinderland Caringin, L’Union des Français de l’Etranger (UFE) and D’Posture Dance Studio. And we are using syllabus from the Royal Academy of Dance – London.
