RAD Syllabus


THE GRADED EXAMINATION SYLLABUS
* Pre Primary in Dance – Grade 5 (for 3+ yo) :
The graded syllabus offers a methodical and carefully systematic dance education that focused in ballet, with the aim to develop technical, musical and performance skills.
HIGHER GRADES
* Grade 6 – 8 (for 11+ yo) :
A direct continuation of the Graded Syllabus that focuses on lyrical technique, free movement and character dances. It promotes a sense of performance in a group, couple and even as a solo performance in Grade 8 as the culmination of its Graded Syllabus. The Higher Grade offers a Level 3 Certificate in Graded Examination in Dance conjunction with the British Education System.
VOCATIONAL GRADED
* Intermediate Foundation – Advanced 2 (for 11+ yo) :
This syllabus offers an in-depth study of ballet and prepares students with technique required at professional level. In accordance to its levels, it provides either Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4 Certificate in Dance in conjunction with the British Education System.
DISCOVERING REPERTOIRE
* Level 2 – 4 (for 11+ yo) :
Is a dance performance syllabus. It provides a structured class for the development of technique through the learning of an adapted choreography of well known ballets. Each level comprises of 3 units that can be taken separately or combined.
